The Gym I Actually Stuck With

Hey everyone!

Years ago I wrote about switching from a big chain gym to a smaller place called Upfit Academy. I'm still going, which for me is basically a world record.

What hooked me wasn't just the workouts, though getting actually coached on things like pull-ups instead of wandering around a gym floor guessing was a game changer. It's the community. Everyone there pushes each other, which matters a lot on the days you'd rather just go home and have a glass of wine instead.

If you're in NYC and gym-curious, Upfit Academy is worth checking out. Nobody's paying me to say that, I just like giving credit where it's due.
