Every 'Free Money' Trick I've Actually Tried

Years ago I went through a phase of trying every "free money" app I could find, and people still ask me about it, so here's the updated version.

Robinhood. Sign up through a referral link and you both get a free stock. I did this years ago and it worked, current offers change, so check the terms when you grab your own link.

Crypto, cautiously. I put a small amount into Bitcoin and Ethereum a while back, treated it like a fun experiment rather than a real investment strategy, and watched it swing both ways. If you're curious, start small, treat it like money you're fine losing, and don't touch your actual savings.

Instagram brand deals. Build a following and companies will eventually offer free products or event invites in exchange for posts. Genuinely one of the more fun perks of doing this.

One thing I used to recommend that I'm leaving out on purpose: a "prize savings" app that ran into serious problems with the company handling its banking. Lesson learned, so it's not getting a link here anymore.
